RETAIL & DISTRIBUTION

Control across every outlet, van and dealer — without living on the phone

Distribution businesses lose money in the gaps: stock at outlets nobody can see, schemes calculated by hand, collections nobody chased, and salesmen whose day is invisible.

Where distribution leaks

The gaps that cost distributors the most

You cannot see outlet or dealer stock

Primary sales you know. What is actually sitting at the dealer, and what is selling through, is guesswork — so you push stock blindly.

Schemes are calculated by hand

Slab discounts, free-goods offers and quarterly targets worked out in Excel. Disputes with dealers are routine and usually end in you conceding.

Salesman activity is invisible

You know the orders that came in. Which outlets were actually visited, what was discussed, and which were skipped is unknown.

Credit limits exist on paper

An outlet goes well past its limit because the person taking the order had no live view of the outstanding.

Collections drift

Payment chasing depends on whoever remembers. Ageing quietly worsens month over month.

Expiry and slow movers pile up

Near-expiry and non-moving stock surfaces when it is already a write-off rather than when it could still be pushed.

What we build

Systems for retail and distribution businesses

📱

Salesman ordering app

Order booking at the counter with live stock, correct scheme-applied rates and the outlet's outstanding on screen — plus visit tracking and offline working.

🏢

Multi-location stock

Warehouse, outlets, vans and in-transit stock all visible in one place, with transfers recorded properly rather than by phone call.

🏷

Scheme & discount engine

Slab schemes, free goods, quarterly targets and dealer-specific rates calculated by the system. Statements dealers can verify themselves — disputes largely disappear.

💳

Credit control

Limits enforced at order entry, not discovered at month end. Orders above limit route for approval instead of being blocked or quietly allowed.

📊

Secondary sales visibility

Where dealers will share it, capture sell-through so you plan on actual demand rather than on how much you managed to push.

FAQ

Retail and distribution questions

Can the salesman app work without internet?

Yes — that is essential in this business. Orders, visit notes and collections are saved on the phone and sync when the connection returns. A salesman in a basement market or a rural route keeps working normally.

Our scheme structure is complicated. Can it be automated?

Usually yes, and it is often the highest-value part. We have modelled slab schemes, combination offers, free-goods ratios, quarterly target incentives and dealer-specific rate structures.

The bigger benefit is that dealers can see their own scheme calculation, which removes most of the monthly argument.

We have outlets on different billing software. Can they be connected?

Often yes, depending on the software. Where a direct connection is not possible, a scheduled data import still gives you consolidated visibility, which is usually most of the value.

We check what each outlet runs before committing to an approach.

Do we need to replace our billing software?

Not necessarily. If your billing works, we frequently build around it — adding the ordering, scheme, credit and visibility layer while billing continues where it is. That is cheaper and far less disruptive.

Do you know what is sitting at your dealers right now?

If not, you are planning production and purchase on incomplete information. The audit will show you what visibility is achievable.
